Vests

Staff Sergeant Chris Cummings (left), a police officer for the Union City Police Department, is currently serving in Iraq with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard, from Jackson. He recently received several boxes of armor plated ballistic vests from Union City Police Cheif Joe Garner. The 48 vests were donated by the Tennessee Police Cheif's Association and are being given to Iraqi correction officers at the prison in An Nasiriyah.

Receiving the vests is Mr. John Kay, Senior Officer in Her Majesty's Prison Services of the United Kingdom. He is in Iraq serving as advisor on prison matters for the Iraqi Corrections Services.
