Specialist Sammy D. Brasher (right) recently reenlisted for a period of six years in the Tennessee Army National Guard. SPC Brasher was sworn in by Brigadier General Jimmy Welch (left), Commander of the 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard during a ceremony in Iraq.
Specialist Brasher is serving in Iraq with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard from Jackson. The unit mobilized in October 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III.
Specialist Brasher is a resident of Jackson. He has two daughters, Skylar Brasher and Destiny Brasher, also, of Jackson. He is employed as a fulltime technician with the 194th Engineer Brigade. SPC Brasher has four years in the Tennessee Army National Guard and is a Supply Specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company.
