School Backpacks

The 194th Engineer Brigade has been receiving boxes of school supplies on a daily basis since requesting them earlier this year. Many boxes contained backpacks that needed packing for distributing to local Iraqi schoolchildren.

Sergeant Earnest Merriweather (left) and Sergeant First Class Charles Oakley, who work the night shift at the Brigade's operation center, were willing to help out with the packing of pencils, paper, crayons and other items for children.
